I think that's a white people thing because I've never had it. The Mexican version is tortilla with butter, cinnamon and sugar so I guess it's the same thing
This was so good. If you didn't learn how to make it and enjoy it in adult life we can't be friends.

Hubby doesn't have to eat it. I guess if you could know you'd still enjoy it, friendness can be achieved. Also, that sucks that cinnamon makes him sick. Does he get sick just by smelling it too?

Yeah he does :( I'd love to try it as I loved cinnamon & sugar on pancakes (had them years ago at a friends house)
Take piece of white bread. Spread some butter on this bread. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on buttered side of bread, place bread on pan, pan in oven, top rack, turn on broiler, check often until it looks golden or before it starts to burn. Turn off broiler, take pan out (use oven mitts) and place bread on plate. Devour asap.
I thought my dad invented this for the longest time. Up until my husband made it one day and I was just O.O how do you know of the secret sugar toast :S
