I was just thinking of that police dog (or maybe fire dog) that was put down for age and health. And I was thinking, what if the dog's last commands were to stand at attention before the needle and mask, and then after all the department saluted, the good boy was told to rest.
Yeah, with dogs and cats isothesia causes a 'manic' phase, which kind of looks like a seizure and that would be hard to witness before your pet passes on. Sub-q injection is preferred for sedation before the life-ending injection is actually given.
And its posts like these that make me want to quit funsubstance. i lost my cat recently and all this shit did was bring the pain back. so thanks. glad i get to be reminded of sad events on a site that is supposed to be fucking fun.
Y'all know what's the worsest worst. That I have A LIVE PET. And all I'm thinking now, what if some crazy weasel rips off my cutie cat's jaw, and she comes back later this evening dying in blood and pain (dying within minutes.. on my lap) and there's nothing I can do... But end her myself. My sister killed herself, I went to concert that same evening, I don't care if someone chooses not to live, or dies after a long illness in old age, it's better to put them to sleep, but if someone else kills you all of a sudden (including illness undercover) now that's sad (also had a lot of that in my life, but nobody I care). I'd die if I had to see my all gay now cat dying in pain later this evening.

Q_Q I know your pain...I always worry about my cat getting out and ending up getting hurt because he's so friendly
True courage here. I can't imagine what you've been through, and I dunno if I could find the strenght to do such a thing. My dog is just 1,5 yr old and I cherish every moment with her and I'm sure you did the same. This is true love
Poor baby doggo... may she rest in peace.
I sometimes wonder if dogs understand when they're put down for health reasons. Do they understand they're dying? Do they know we do it because we love them and don't want them to suffer? Or do they think of it as plain betrayal before it all ends? Do they fade away thinking we've sabotaged them or do they thank us? It hurts for me to think of these things, things we may never know.
I know the pain, it's so horrible. I went camping after it happened and sat on the banks of a lake for hours a day. Thinking about the great times with my loving pet
You must be new.
They had written something before, that I will not repeat, but apparently some people didn't quite like it, so they 'deleted' the content, hence the cursive.
Deja vu I've been in this place before....

I support what diabetes did 104% but could you have gotten in trouble for that?

Just kidding, but still, i'm actually a bit curious as to what it said.
.
And shit, you are right, in my defense, í had been staring at a book about math equations for far too long that I would have liked.
