When I see kids grab the tails of cats or dogs, I start to panic. XD

My little brother picked kittens up by their head. Not the part of the neck you should pick them up by, but the actual head. Those would become the most patient cats you would ever meet.

I was so nervous when my cat first met a toddler (he's huge). My niece ran towards him, petted him quite brutally (PAT PAT PAT) and stroked his fur the wrong way. But he was super patient with her and didn't even walk away.

one of the reasons to teach kids to handle animals properly instead of watching annoyedly and then bitching about it on the internet.

Picking up kittens/puppies by ths scruff of their neck stresses me up. It looks like it's going to rip the skin off their poor little neck!

Their mothers do it all the time. As long as they aren't swinging the pups/kittens like flails, they shuld be fine.

My brother grabs the cats by the legs, and never listens when anyone tells him not to...

Same. I told my little brother if he touched my cat I would break his fingers.
