I'm more educated than you, in every way shape and form. Also more intelligent than you (exponentially so). I am better than you, in every fact of life, and I don't even know you, however, I just know, that I am. Also, we aren't bro's. If anything, you are someone I assign less value and worth than my own feces. Your life has no value, and you will make no contribution to this world, in your entire life, because of your low intelligence, and lack of skills. How does that feel, you fucking bottom denominator. go back to you vegan subreddit to fill your useless void of a life, pretending it means anything. Am I a narcissist? I don't know, I am a fucking God. I will, do, and have succeeded in every facet of life. I have done more, in this year alone, than you will have achieved before you leave this world... let that sink in. You have no fucking clue who you are talking to. I am so vastly superior, and intelligent, that I can infer all of this, with 100% accuracy.
You are like a fucking ant, and I am a GOD. You do not even fly on my radar, let alone get acknowledgement, from the likes of me. I know you can sense my superiority, my power, my intelligence, and you are trying to pretend you don't feel it, its real. To conclude, go back to fucking yourself, you meaningless water-trash bottom feeding peasant.
But you are doing the job you went to school for (i.e you go to medical training you work in medical), it's not like you just get stuck in infantry no matter what
The military will teach any qualified volunteer to heal people.
Combat troops are trained in first aid by default, and medical is one of the best things to specialise in, even for noncombatants.
Our men have been working under too restrictive (and oftentimes counterproductive) rules of engagement since Vietnam. They were trained to kill the enemy and win wars, but politicians can't stomach collateral damage and our forces have been ordered to leave fights unfinished too many times.
A soldier is a public servant working for the people, the elected government directs their actions. Wether you agree or not is an issue for the president and congress. A doctor is a private citizen who works for a corporation and is paid well to do it. I think we pay soldiers because giving people heavy explosives and guns and not training them sounds dangerous. Point of fact most soldiers are sorted by aptitude, infantry (shooty ones) test lowest. Mechanics, pilots, engineers, even doctors are trained by the military. For every shooty you need at least 3-4 support staff for transport, medical care, food, logistics etc. most of the military isn't trained to kill, even the infantry who mainly learn to follow orders and survive. So with tuition so high why don't more people turn down med school for military duty? Is every mall employee a conscientious objector, or is there a hidden cost to military service that civilian students don't pay? This question is now answered.
They were more affordable, but a number of factors, including the government giving money to students for college, has made college waaaaaay more expensive. Ppl used to work and go to college at the same time and graduate free of debt.
Soldiers also sign an Unlimited Liability Contract. The have to Kill and Die and Suffer Grievous Wounds when we tell them too. And don't just claim "The Government is to only one to blame"
One is government funded and one is not. Just because YOU don't pay for something doesn't mean someone else isnt. And people actually trained to kill others in the military is a smaller percentage than what people think. Most service men and women will never shoot at someone no matter what their rate is.
Well since they referred to being "Trained to Kill" that is what I was commenting on. And yes even in the Army the Ratio of Combat to Non-Combat can run as high 1:7. And even members of supposed non-combat arms can find themselves under attack, especially in insurgencies like Iraq and Afghanistan.
I get what you mean dude. I was just trying to make clear to ppl that not everyone in the service is this Hollywood style cold, callous machine of death. Not saying that's what you think, but I've met quite a few who do.
But it's much easier to kill someone
I just joke
And the second is much more difficult for your average joe.
