I liked the new Ghostbusters movie. I don't see what the big deal is over the wonder woman movie. It's just another superhero film

Yes, I thought it was pretty funny. I saw it with my dad and sister, and they enjoyed it too

I seriously appreciate the fact that y'all think that way. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of people making a huge fucking deal about it, and it's entirely likely that if it doesn't make a HUGE killing studios will use it as an excuse to say "female-led action movies just don't make money" and .... not make them.

I see your point. I'm just "meh" over the whole thing and it's just another superhero movie to me. Whether it's a success or failure doesn't bother me at all

I didn't like the new Ghostbusters, without the original actors the movie will always be meh, not good, i did gave it a try though. I prefer Hateful Eight over this Ghostbusters movie, my humble opinion, no sjw hate please.

Everyone has their own interests. It would be rude as fuck for me to judge you for not liking the same movies I do. You can't make someone like something. To make you feel better, I'm actually annoyed with superhero movies. My movie tastes are Horror and Scifi

Wonder Woman came out in the UK today and I've just gotten back from seeing it and it is really good (and I actually enjoyed BVS)

True, I can't count how many things are wrong with it with two hands, but that's doesn't mean it's the WORST. Everyone treats it like the worst thing ever, when in reality there are a million worse movies than it

Nobody is asking for "no women movies" or "no man movies". They're asking for GOOD movies. Luckily, Wonder Woman was pretty good. I hope that keeps up at DC from now on.

The issue with the fight for equality is that people but too much importance on things. No one makes a fuss if it's a man-led film but if it's a woman-led people start screaming feminism n' shit. If you want to be equal, treat a woman-led film as you'd treat a man-led one.

That's because "man movies" (I assume she means superhero movies specifically) are an established market that's proven to be profitable. If super hero movies in general didn't take off like they did, they probably would have been like "well I guess were done making superhero movies" and moved on to something else. It's got nothing to do gender bias, or whatever she's implying.

maybe it's because hollywood only makes movies with male leads most of the time and rarely any female leads, and when it is a female lead, the budget is incredibly short compared to their male counterparts.

And why might that be? Is there a difference in the number of actors between genders? Do movies that star men make more money? Are male stars generally a better investment long-term?
