Can't hold people responsible for histories they had nothing to do with.
Unless they embrace those histories, but I don't recall hearing any British calls to bring back colonialism.
As an American, that is a lesson I had to learn to keep close to heart. No country has a perfect history, and blaming the son for the father's actions has never ended well.
Lol.. the Brits colonized the world, they didn't immigrate, it was a matter of power and money.. the common Brit was just getting rewards, not facing any challenges..
Now immigration problems are being faced by all..hence the issue..
By the way, I'm an Indian and hate Colonial Brits..
Spanish concquer the other half of the world and what they did what so wrong in many levels I can´t denied they are part of my genetic makeup when I look my mother and my aunts. Me As a product of colinization, I hate colonial Spaniard but whithout with them, I wouldn't exist. But afterall I am no that important ( to exist). But I love my family. We can't hold responsible the people of today, for what happened in the past, we must learn from their mistake and keep going.
I know we did a lot of terrible things in South America, and we killed a lot of people. But at least, people have realised that we did wrong then, and don't hate us for what we are now. I think that's a milestone in a lot of cases
are we still talking about Brexit? that was over a year ago. nothing has even changed today as a result of it. The only major difference (AFAIK as an American) is that Cameron immediately resigned.
I meant that the vote happened last year, but as of July 20, 2017, at 5:23 PM CST, nothing has changed in terms of legislature or anything else. All that happened was a vote, which everyone defined as Brexit.
Unless they embrace those histories, but I don't recall hearing any British calls to bring back colonialism.

I know that.
