The stale, room temperature water next to your bed that you drink after waking in the night tastes like it's from God'd personal pond. It'd sweet and you think that maybe if I died now, I'd be at peace.
Never once in my life.
It's upsetting, because my brain has developed a hatred for the taste of water. It always tastes too much of plastic, metal, or both.
The water at my gym literally tastes like heaven. It comes out cold, and fresh, and the fact that you've earned it doing a thirty minute run on the treadmill makes it even better.
Though to be fair, I never liked water and I used to drink a bottle of pepsi max everyday instead but then I forced myself to drink water instead and my skin has cleared up so much. Plus I actually like water now and fancy it.
I once had to walk 12 miles back to my house while it was 110 degrees outside.... about every two miles I'd start looking out for a place with a water fountain..... so delicious. The last ~3 miles I started jogging home because 1) I knew I could make it and 2) better to just get it over with than wallow in the heat... I downed a good 24 oz, filled my tub up with ice cold water and just sat there for a good 30 min.

Yeah when sometimes you wake up at 2 in the morning and have this so FUCKING THIRST OF WATER! It tastes like something from out of this world is going down my throat. So delicious.

Water stored in glass tastes best to me personally.
