Milennials were born between early 1980s and as late as the year 2000... so why blame people that are potentially in their mid 30s for this?

Depends on the teacher. I live in the U.S., and my teacher only taught us about why America had to drop the bombs on Japan. Though she was particularly bitter about Pearl Harbor... In Germany, the holocaust isnof course taught more. The Germans don't want it to happen again and they want to make sure everyone knows how wrong it was.

Yeah, from grade six on it felt like men's whole history was the Holocaust, we hardly did anything else. It is an important part of modern history though, so I thought it was taught everywhere (even if not to the same extend as here)

The Holocost was touched on in middle school but is extensively covered in high school world history.
