Disagreed, homosexuality was considered wrong for a long time, but in recent years it has become accepted by a majority. This (not) quote would imply that homosexuality is still wrong because nothing but popular opinion changed on the matter.
homosexuality is present in other species besides humans. the only thing "wrong" about it (looking from a logical perspective) is that it isnt conducive to the survival of a species. You cant mate with someone of the same gender. There's also the religious side in that many religions state that being gay is a sin. It is "natural" just not "right" in the logical sense. The biggest point we have to remember is that humans are not logical creatures, so theres not point in trying to vilify gays for not being logical.
In large groups of penguins, orphaned chicks are often taken in by gay couples. Heterosexual pairings will usually not care for the chicks, since they have their own resource-intensive young to look after. In this manner, the parents' genetic input is not lost.
Also, there's no imperative to directly contribute to the reproduction of the species in order to benefit the species, especially for a species based as heavily around complex social structures as homo sapiens.
It's good in a sense that they can take in orphans or abandoned children

Tell that to Japan
Yeah, but gay people doesn't cause the low birth rate. People are retiring later, leaving less jobs for the new generation; there's a whole bunch of young men who are putting finding a job before getting a family. There's a whole cultural thing about being the breadwinner for the family, and that's getting more difficult.
Thats what i always ask myself when i do things
''What's right and wrong anyways''
Is it right bc its acceptable by laws that human make up or cause you don't feel bad doing it
And I end up doing things that are considered wrong cause I just don't see the real concept of what's right and what's wrong
I mean, culturally people have different concepts of right and wrong. In India it's horribly wrong and a huge evil to so much as harm a cow, in America we regularly slaughter and eat them. This is a commonly studied thing in anthropology
In many places, a 20 dating a 16 is totally fuckup
But in here, 16 is legal age already
It's all about concept I guess
If you defend your actions long and hard enough, the wrong thing doesn't feel so wrong anymore and the right thing isn't that necessary to be done
That's an acceptable skew because of culture, unless it violates basic human rights. This has been a growing concept all over the world, that all humans should have the same rights
I like the natural ambiguity of this statement. The way almost everyone reading it will almost automatically feel vindicated by it, regardless of how spectacularly they disagree on the specifics and what the "truth" is.

Or! Flip flop the whole thing and it is still true! Truth doesn't become a lie, right doesn't become wrong... etc, only because it is no longer believed by the majority. Damn I love logic.
