He or she is the term used to speak of a person of either a male or female gender respectively with ease. It is literally a label if you define "label" as using one thing to refer to another.
Of course then there's the other side to it. I'll never forget overhearing a classmate in a math class say "I can't wait till I turn 18 and can start getting my check from the government".
Life is being stranded in the woods with that wood bladed axe and needing to chop wood. It's unlikely anyone would ever teach you what to do in that situation. The most successful people will figure it out. Under them will be those who can't figure it out but can follow their instructions. School isn't supposed to teach you about life. There are infinite possibilities to live in life, infinite unforeseen scenarios. School exposes you to different ideas and people so you can learn what interests you and where your skills are- and take initiative to further those thins on your own. No one has a "blue print" to create a guaranteed profitable business, otherwise we'd all be doing it. Success in life relies on you recognizing and utilizing the tools and opportunities you have to the fullest. You can't institutionalize excellence. You can nurture and guide it, but in the end, what you do with that wood bladed axe is what makes you, not anyone else and not the axe.
