Now imagine a vegan shows you one of those ''brutal slayings'' video (that's probably fake)
Then handled you a plate a steak ''how can you people possibly eat this''
And you just eat it
Of course it was I mean the guy was told by all his Doctors to eat off the healthier side of the menu and he still ate like he thought grease was a food group. There is even a woman who ate nothing but McDonald's for a month and she only ate the healthy food and she lost weight.
Once in middle school my best friend showed me a video about how chicken nuggets were made. My stomach rumbled loudly. I told her nothing upsets my stomach unless it's a person's mouth open with chewed food. That would want to make me puke.
That's actually quite reprehensible. Children also would generally be off out by videos of live child birth or acts of making a child, as adults we even know they are kinda gross but we have the faculties to deal with it, or some of us decide the gross side out weighs the positives. Using shock or scare tactics to compel people to your views is always repugnant, even if done "for their own good." That is time that could have been better spent on the message "snacks taste good, but food is like medicine. You need to take certain amounts of certain types to be healthy" or positive reinforcement of healthier foods. You only gains taste for most healthy or "higher quality" foods through time eating them. Much fast food is cheap and easy, what busy cash strapped parents can manage. Instead of demonizing that, maybe teach time and budget friendly ways to eat healthy? "Common sense" only seems common because someone grew up in an environment where that was fostered.
