So wheelchair users, have no friends, no family and no reason to carry anything other than themselves. Slow clap.

Or....it is another option (presumably more affordable than a conversion van with a lift) for easy, convenient transportation. Jjst because it doesn't do everything doesn't mean it is useless.

and it means they're not reliant on others to get around

It still doesn't have room for groceries however, which I see as its biggest flaw

carries as much as a person in a wheelchair can carry, some people don't do a whole weeks groceries in one trip, this allows someone that would normally be restricted to their home or nearby areas to get out when they want without asking others. it looks small and also fuel efficient

Could be a small storage compartment in the front. I bet it's electric with a flat battery in the floor so the hood area could be open.

This would be more for things like school, doctors appointments, or daily work than a night of binge drinking with friends, or getting a weeks worth of groceries. So yeah it's not as practical as an suv or van or hell even little beater car like my spare vehicle, but I could see it still getting daily use, I'm not disabled to the extent of a wheelchair bound person but my vehicle only sees use outside of work maybe three times a week.

I like the idea but if a person is paralyzed from the waist down how would they control the pedals?..

There are many different things that have been adapted to hand controls for these situations.

The brakes are adapted so they are around the steering wheel instead

People in wheelchairs can drive regular cars. They just put hand controls attached to the pedals (and there are other options too).

but where do you put the groceries?

NO. Just no. My husband is a wheelchair user and he would cringe at this. He drives a Jeep Commander (with hand controls of course). Where are you supposed to put all your stuff? God forbid you should get in an accident (you would get smushed). This is a glorified electric wheelchair.

Even a minor fender bender, where you weren't smushed - it has no passenger side door, doesn't appear to have a drivers side, so if you get rear ended you're trapped until the jaws of life can pry open that back lift.
