Only if they are around 15-16 area because it will stop the use of unusual objects that some end up using and potentially cause health problems but the parents should sit down and talk with their child first to work out if their child needs one
I wouldn’t have any issue at all buying a masturbation device for my children once they become interested in it. Not sure it’s a responsibility as a parent exactly, but I don’t want them growing up thinking sex is dirty, or their sexuality is something of which they should be ashamed.
IMO we teach girls in particular to have a defensive attitude towards their sexuality; boys are going to take something from them and they have to guard against it. I don’t see that as being a healthy approach to the subject.
They don't need them slammed in their faces, but they also shouldn't be denied access to one just because they are embarrassed. They will try to use anything that looks slightly penis/vagina shaped and will likely injury themselves in the process.
I said it in another comment, but allow me to quote: "You don't want to get to the point where that slightly round looking shampoo bottle begins to tempt you."

Yup. Not denying that. It's for their own safety. But the question which arises is, When?
When they ask or when you notice they're masturbating. Even if they don't want to use the toy(s) at that moment, they'll have the option when they want to.
Do you want to mess up mom's pie? Ignoring the advice in the first pic is how mom's pie gets messed up... and carrots... and cucumbers... and zucchini... and vacuum cleaners.... etc.
I really don't know whose side you are on. Are you with the child abuse of preventing your kids from exploring their sexuality? Wow, that's a loaded question.

But later. I'm going to take a nap rn.
