I think a lot of those photos are staged, I know if I was in that position (the camera person) I'd be protecting the kids or getting them to safety but I think that's because I'm parent so I'm naturally protective of kids.
No. That’s what war photographers do. The image is making an impact and has people talking about an ignored issue. That is Why they die out there, where you and I don’t go

Wait. There are war photographers? I seriously didn't knew that.
Edit: I mean I know of journalists but, are there photographers too? Especially for that?
The same thing happened to a few pacifist journalists in Vietnam. The idea is the photo ultimately has more power.
It's the pen vs sword thing just with cameras instead of pens.
edit for bombs and guns and mines and napalm and agent orange instead of swords. <_<
Or like with the body of the dead baby that washed ashore everyone reacts. War photographers have regretted taking a picture and have also felt they made a difference. Read up on the picture from the naked girl in Vietnam, he took the picture then took her to the hospital, eventually helping her move to tje US.
you may not be an idiot, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Wouldn't you know that? Perhaps..... *gasp*... you're an idiot!
I sorry, that was mean.... I just think that criticizing the circle, of all things, is... silly silly.
Cheers.... dilly dilly.
An asshole looking for a Pulitzer. Have we not seen the kids running from a napalm attack in Korea. That's where these people get their ideas. Granted most of them are fake. Like this one. But still. Being a standby and not helping is not worth a photo.
