Same. On the other hand, when I do eat, I consume a couple of days worth of food so I guess it evens out

We have the 40 hour famine in Australia. It’s a challenge

Hunty, as someone struggling with an eating disorder, I have water-fasted for 3 and a half days. 24 hours ain't shit, unless you're like 50+

Same goes for me 24 hours is too easy. But I don't think us peeps with eating disorders should be trying this anyways

I do a 7-day waterfasting every year with a local group. One of the members is 84.

Why do you do that?

It's good for meditation and self-control. Cleanses the body so you can cleanse the mind.

24 hours isn't that bad. In fact after 24 hours you should stop feeling hungry, no?

Mate I've gone 12 days with nothing but water and a little salt to prevent cramping. Not eating for a long period of time is really easy when you're used to it.

Sort of related but one time I didn't shit for 9 days. I was in the fetal position on my bathroom floor weeping by day 9. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. When it finally came out, it tore my asshole and now I have anal fissures. Yay

I was constipated constantly as a child and now my body has adapted to shitting once a week. Like, it doesn't even bother me anymore. I just have a porn star asshole now.

I did that when camping in Boy Scouts. I couldn't crap in a latrine with no door, so I held it for a week each summer. Eventually, I became more normal.
