@pandaman1 well, i initialy came to the comment section for the same purpose (commenting "well.. technically you could..") .. so, meh. i think a lot of users here thought the same.
It's also her livelihood, and potentially the livelihoods of anyone in her family or that worked there.
I'm not saying the children aren't more important, but there's no reason to disregard she lost something, too
It's quite common for farmers to take loans to buy the seeds. And the only time they receive money is when they sell the crop. Lots of farmer go broke because of similar problem.
Yeah I understand that, I happen to be a poultry farmer, I just took a $400 loss because of someone's mutt. In all likelihood though she can probably get help from her government.
