The human body. Maybe in the dream, the skin of the body is the only thing holding everything else in. 'Everything else' being 'meat' - flesh, organs, etc.
The 'tube' part may come from the fact that the ribs are curved in, almost like a tube. (Slight stretch, but it makes sense for me).
A few years ago, I started to write down my best/wildest dreams as soon as I wake up from them. I re-read them from times to times because it's fucking hilarious, and somehow I still have the same images in my head as I did when I was asleep (I think writing the whole story down in great detail "fixed" the memories).
I just retell my dreams as soon as I wake up so that I never forget them. My dreams are so wild that sometimes they have intros and credits like TV shows!

But its literally human body=meat tube
