I think they mean still being polite as opposed to being a complete asshole who disregards them as a human, start making derogatory comments, and so on.
This is exactly why I'm afraid my gf may not want to stay with me. Not that I'm a shitty person,but I get annoyed at stuff really easily due to blind autism, and while I never shout at people bc of it, I'm afraid she'll hate me for it
It's not exactly a real term, but it's what I personally call it when I get pissed off, bc I get pissed way too easily bc of aspergers.
