That depends on many factors, age, overall health, how well nourished they are and also the purity of said poison, if it was diluted or not.

No one died. The poison he's using is an anticoagulant, which causes uncontrolled bleeding in rats. In small amounts it won't do anything to the average person. I actually take the stuff everyday (Warfarin) because of an autoimmune disorder that causes my blood to form clots randomly. The effects of too much can be countered with vitamin K.
