The part about the weapons reminded me of how they found a statue of a female gladiator holding some type of pick or blade above her head and initially wrote it off as "some sort of cleaning tool."

True. I often use my broom as a dance partner while I'm sweeping. I like to pretend I'm Spanish royalty in the 1500s, dancing with my fiancée who will die of dysentery at the age of 17.
