What's the average income in the place though? And the living fee too?
For example, if you make about $3000 dollars in the US per month, I don't have much information but I believe your income is rather below average and you'd survive but if you get sick, you die.
Now if you make the same amount of money in Vietnam (where I am), you would be living the dream, if you don't spend too crazy on daily basic, you may even go to luxurious beach side resort every 3 months.
So yes, we need more information.
and if that women wasn't working in that factory what would be another source of income for her, and possibly her children. Prostitution. So yes look at all of the currency conversions for income. Many women would gladly take a job like that opposed to sex work that, in many cases, leads to abuse and spread of diseases such as AIDS/HIV.
That makes no difference to my comment which didn't pass comment on the 64c/an hour. If women aren't being paid enough it is not ok to just say "Well it will do because they should be grateful they don't have to be prostitutes"
