When this movie came out the internet was so new and smart phones wasn't really a thing yet so a shit ton of people believed the movie was real.
I was not that dumb. I would try to convince people all the time it was just a movie but of course they thought I was an idiot for thinking it wasn't real.
I remember it. My dad and older step bro went to watch it and made my step mom take me and my other brother into another movie (I forgot what)... we snuck out and into TBWP. Honestly, wasn't impressed. I thought it was fucking stupid. It creeped out my eldest step bro though.
I really was very scared after watching this movie because of the way it was filmed. The movie gives you no answer until you shack your brains and find multiples. Whatever, clever strategy.
I don't blame her. The actors were literally kept in the dark. The director would leave them in a random part of the woods with nothing but a tent, some water, and a few granola bars. They had no idea where they were or when they got to go home. So while the audience may have been terrified, the actors were ten times as scared. Some of them, like this young lady, feared for their life and were scared that they might never be seen again.
