Not sure I would judge the entire military based on the actions of a few. Like any group of people or organization, you'll have some who are just doofs--it doesn't mean everyone in the armed forces or clandestine services are doofs.

I would say they should leave them for actual handicapped people but at my store the only people that use them are just too fat to walk

That reminded me of that South Park episode, where Cartman wanted to get fat only so he could ride a god damn Wal Mart cart everywhere lmao

Obligatory reminder that people with disabling injuries are not able to move as easily and tend to get overweight. The fat people on the scooter may have a legitimate underlying disability that made them that way not the other way around.

Duly noted, though I work in a grocery store in Ohio where obese is kind of the norm. Also, no matter what happens to you, and I'm genetically fat myself (and I'm not fat anymore) if you change your diet you'll change your weight. It isn't exercise that makes you lose weight, that makes you fitter and healthier, it's your diet that makes you lose weight. I know all kinds of people that say they're genetically fat and that it runs in their family and all they eat is garbage every day. If you reduce your calories you will reduce your weight. You can't have a cheat day, you can't have a small desert every day, you can't have "treats" and sugary crap. The number of people who are genuinely physically incapable of losing weight is microscopic, most people just don't want to make enough sacrifice to lose weight. And if you do lose weight, you can't go right back to eating the shit you were eating before.

Yeah I see a lot of that where I live too. As I'm walking toward the store, a low rider rolls up to the closest handicapped parking spot, and then 4 human Flubbers squeeze out and leave no sign of a handicapped parking sign hanging in the mirror as I realize the car was not a low rider after all. Then they begin to walk, fully unimpeded, into the store in front of me as I pause, half expecting to hear David Attenborough's voice fill my head in narration. I then hear these people, with mine. own. ears. saying things like "oh good there's no old people in here today, let's take these scooters. My fat ass hates having to walk everywhere. All right...which aisle is the chips and dips?" "No let's hit all the aisles, maybe they got some of them free samples out." And I shake my head silently as I walk past them, through the smoke created by the struggling motors in those little scooters just...doing their best.

Yep. Military people should work 24/7 and never have fun. Relax, Francis.
