yea that was pretty obvious. and seeing the number of upvotes on the follow-up comment I feel like people must assumed he's an asshole cause he's a guest
Yes, that is exactly what I did was assume he's an asshole because he's a guest. I'm also assuming the guest that made the second comment about being obvious is not the same guest seeing as how it would be really weird to do a guest post and deliberately come back to check given that guests don't get reply updates.

I did exactly that all the time when I was a guest waaaaaay back in the day.
It's not blatantly obvious to everyone as people have different ideas of what humor is.
Some people might relate to that comment being it is the reality we face in the real world.
Also i'll add that it's a really poor way to illustrate the ridicule of victim blaming in rape, because most likely the people who will say see the metaphor and realize its a terrible thing to say will NOT be the ones who use such stupid arguments, and they on the other will not see it / will agree with it (if only because they don't care about this dude and this allows them to remain consistent).
So you're just gonna end up convincing people who agree that victim blaming is horrible, but they were already on your side, and entrench the people who spew these arguments by giving them the chance to say "exactly, see this time it benefits a girl, but she's right too."
Or you could realize that it’s just a joke anonymously made on a meme site that’s mostly populated with kids. I doubt it’s going to swing anyone’s opinion to any material degree; if it did then that person’s beliefs are so loosely held that they could be considered to not even exist.
I don’t use Venmo much but isn’t your name attached to every transaction? Why would you need to check cameras if you have the name or even just an account number of the person who robbed you?
I can't speak for all businesses and services but someone stole my Switch at TSA and they showed me the footage and I spotted who did it. Any store that I've worked at would certainly let a customer look with them if they needed to spot a particular person.
I've never seen someone r/whooooosh so fucking badly
