It's 98°F here with 70% humidity and the risk of the rivers I live by flooding.

Direct sunlight will give a false reading.

I hate the heat, so I've been staying indoors during the day and going out past midnight. I've seen some cool animals though.

Relatively bearable, but I'm further north than most of you. Plus, I’ve experienced this heat before, but there’s not appropriate air conditioning..

No one was whining, making your "boo hoo" kind of condescending. I was just kindly 'translating' the temperatures for americans. Also, seeing as Germany has an annual average of 8.17°C while Texas has an average of 20,7°C and 43°C being the hottest June day in Germany EVER since the beginning of records, it's quite understandable people are making posts about this. We're not whining. This has simply never happened before.

So I don't get why you're trying to compete with Germany, as this was never the intention, and extremely hot weather is to be expected in Texas and Arizona. Not so in Germany.

I was just kidding around, I didnt expect it to be taken so seriously. If it came across as more condescending that wasnt really my intent. I really wish you wouldn't have taken what I said so seriously or with such sensitivity. We're literally talking about the weather....

All of that aside, I imagine much of the infrastructure within Germany isnt built for extreme heat. Are A/C motors burning out left and right over there?

Well some people act like he/she/it said he/she/it has it worse than everyone else, which obviously isn't the case.. so maybe "chill" a bit Texas inhabitant, you seem as heated as your state :D anyway, stay cordial and nice to each other, no point in being buttholes! Have a nice day and may us all survive the heat!
