I doubt the graphics are going to be substantially upgraded from the first one. It says right at the bottom that that's not in-game graphics. Granted it does have a hell of a physics engine but your current PC should be fine

Depends on what exactly is upgraded in ksp 2 if there is any update to the grapics and physics i will probably need to find the money to upgrade (gen 2 i3 with a nvidia gt710 and 8gb ram)
So No Man's Sky but with a bunch of little green minions... ?

Not really like nms except it's a space based game, ksp focuses much more on building, designing, and often the blowing up of rockets while (if in career mode) exploring, completing contracts to earn money to build the rockets and gathering science to complete a tech tree
Ksp has no trading, no survival and is not procedurally generated. you don't control a single character more like you control the rocket and any kerbals (the green guys/gals) that come along for the ride, nms doesn't have any rocket building (unless that's changed since i last saw any of it) so nothing alike really
It's kinda like saying Skyrim is basically just WoW because they both have; a fantasy setting, combat focused on weapons, abilities and status effects, and you complete quests to level up skills to use in interactions or combat.
Give a KSP video a watch, it's vastly different from NMS, and if you're into the more technical aspects of rocket building, space flight and craft landing, it's an amazing game. It's even fun to just dick around on. I used to whack on infinite fuel and fly into the mun as quickly as I could effectively creating a IPBM
