Biodegradable plastic is still plastic that can turn into nano plastics and get into our food chain. While unfortunate, what are the chances you’ll be stabbed with a straw and die

probably about the same as the chances you get stabbed carrying anything that's metal and in a shape that can go in your brain. You fall you heavily risk death

Don’t run with reusable straws kids

There was an Italian restaurant I went to that used to make their own straws from pasta.
