One time I woke up and realized the ceiling fan was off. That was before I realized that the ceiling fan had somehow gotten off the hook and was hanging quite literally by a single wire above my head - no joke

I have the same problem back at my parents'. For whatever reason for years there's been a door between my bed and the wall and it falls at night when I move too much in my sleep.
