When I was a little kid, seeing as candy corn looks like corn kernels. I know a lot of people don't like candy corn but when I was a kid I loved them my favorite were the pumpkins.
Maybe? I’ve never seen it abroad, but it’s very common in America. You may see some here or there the rest of the year but you generally only see it around Halloween- and at least from my perspective it seems to be getting less common as the years go by. Like- I used to see it everywhere and now even Halloween I barely see it.
Lol. While I agree with your assessment- in their defense, and just speaking for America- corn kernels aren’t that common here. Corn on the Cobb is pretty common as are pop corn and loose “corn” but.... “canned corn” and the like has the ends removed so it looks more square. That’s the end you see with corn on the Cobb too and the “points” get left on the Cobb when you chew it off. Pop corn is dried kernels so it looks like small beans. So they may never have seen a corn kernel that was roughly triangular and didn’t realize the association.
