It's only her hair that makes her look older because we're so unused to seeing grey hair on women until they are in their late 60s at least.

My Mom went to highschool with a girl who's hair started to turn gray in her sophomore year. By her senior year her hair was full gray. When she got older and went from gray to white. Apparently my mom said that all the people that woman's family go grey when they're in high school.
