Nope, houses in Texas dont have basements since all structures are built on shifting/moving foundations settled on clay. I supposed there might be some good murder rooms in some of those houses though. Hmm...

Houses in the Middle East rarely—if ever—have basements, so not really.

All the time. And whenever I see a van with no windows I stay quiet for a minute or two just in case someone has been abducted in it and screams or bangs on the walls for help
