That’s flipping terrifying. Not even joking, that’s like my worst nightmare, aside from arachnids.

That's from blowing a vein not from not applying pressure it's a bruise ya big babies

That's what was going through my mind too, though seeing as how the slightest of pain fucks me up to no end (I swear I'm not a wuss, I'm only autistic), this caused me to cringe too

Happens to me most times I give blood, as my veins are difficult to get the needle into and then difficult to keep the blood flowing. It's worth it.

Same! I just use this ointment called thrombophob and it’ll go away pretty fast but regardless of whether pressure was applied or not anytime I have a needle in me it’s bound to happen to some degree

Yeah. I have a bleeding tendency, so it happens to me sometimes too.but it has nothing to do with pressure. Like @rugbyplayer said up there, it’s blowing a vein. And it’s a big old bruise, and it feels like a big deep bruise.

Oh I once had this when I donated blood. The needle was placed perfectly, but I got dizzy so they had to lay me flat, that's when it apparently pierced right through my vein. Started hurting like hell, we had to stop it and a few days later I got a huge bruise. But further up my arm, looked horrible.

Fucking civilians. I wouldn't tolerate that kind of sloppiness from even a CLS.
