if you want tons of "those were the days" but with a more tech positive approach I recommend Technology Connections, a fun youtube channel about digital media tech sprinkled with misclleaneous other topics.
...It didn't. I got my first computer when I was 4 and I have very fond memories of playing Tomb Raider and Harry Potter on it. I would also play with "normal" games, dolls, cars, run outside, catch slugs, read a lot and become the school's marbles queen. Technology is like everything, as ong as you don't overuse it it's not a problem. I still know the second game's Hogwarts castle by heart and I can freely walk around in it and talk to al of the NPCs when I close my eyes, the same way I can do that with my favorite books.
And when my childhood turned sour and I wasn't allowed to play at all, vidyas were the easiest to sneak in.
