I'm reading an anthology of his right now and the introduction includes a whole section on how he was super racist. Dude was a wonderful writer with some fucked up ideas about the world.

This is one of those times you have to consider separating art from the artist because Lovecraft was a massive prick and like, super racist.

Yeah I love the novels but after knowing he's a massive racist I've lost all respect for him as a human being.
