People who report that "cilantro tastes bad" have a variation of olfactory-receptor genes that allows them to detect aldehydes—a compound found in cilantro that is also a by-product of soap and part of the chemical makeup of fluids sprayed by some bugs
If you're going to try it for the first time for the love of god only put a little in your mouth to start with because if you don't like it and you just shove tons of it in your mouth it's already too late
I never HAD to eat soap, just one day I got curious and decided to rub a bar against my tongue. I didnt throw up, but everything tasted like shit for the next 12 hours or so lol
HOLY SHIT I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY!!!
My whole family eats it and no problem but I eat it and I say it taste bad and I swear they didn’t wash the plate/bowl right because I taste soap.
You're not crazy. In my entire family my mother is the only one who doesn't think it tastes like soap. It also apparently tastes like bed bugs and I have no idea what unfortunate soul proved that theory
