How about having to ride your bike barefoot with these. I did it because my 2 yrs younger brother had these petals but mine were normal plastic. I would wear flip flops in summer so I would take my shoes off when riding my bike. My 2 yrs younger brother thought it was funny to take my flip flops and ride off on my bike so I was forced to hurt my feet on his. The little shit.
I actually tripped and fell in the room with my brother’s bike that had these and impaled my knee on the teeth. As in a dozen distinct punctures. Still gives me the willies 35 years later.
Thought that it was some kind of medieval punishment.
