Well, they've got the experience, anyway. Employers love that shit.

Well... outdated experience anyway. Antiquated ways of doing things that aren't always in line with modern best practices... and often, opposition to modern technology and an aggressive lack of interest in learning to use it.

Right, because when they started work, they were put behind glass and frozen in time. It's not as if they were around to watch the computers, that their generation developed and brought to market, slowly take over all aspects of the workplace and society. It's not as if there was ongoing and recurrent training in all fields, as new technologies and practices evolved over the years. Please outline how being up to date on Tinder and Tik Tok has contributed to your, no doubt, meteoric rise in the gig economy.

You can write anything on a playing card with small enough writing.

All you have to do is look at voting patterns. When the majority of people of a certain age vote against themselves by voting against government provided training catered towards emerging markets, as old markets die off, thus voting against not only their own self-interests but the interests of the nation, there may be some truth to the stereotype. Are they all like that? Of course not, but many are.

Probably wouldn't be the laugh fest you envision. Hopefully, a bunch of old people, who have investments, money in the bank, grown kids, paid off mortgages and no outstanding school loans for useless liberal arts degrees, wouldn't be chasing anything more than a source of pocket change. One thing for sure, they wouldn't be sitting on their entitled and lazy asses, whining to each other about how the world owes them something and is failing to recognize their right to start at the top.
