It wasnt a "spear" per say as it was a branch with the end chewed into a point thanks to a beaver. I was walking through the woods with it feeling cool and stuff and I threw it into a Bush (with enough force to make it stick into the ground), and I just heard a loud SQUAK and a bunch of birds flew out. I got nervous and ran away lol
