-oh... and also... the qualifications are a little steeper too- although for the life of me I feel that waiters and waitresses are often far more knowledgeable and trustworthy hard workers than Congress. But one thing they have in common is both get their biggest compensation in perks and tips.
Article I, Section 2 of the Constitution sets three qualifications for representatives. Each representative must: (1) be at least twenty-five years old; (2) have been a citizen of the United States for the past seven years; and (3) be (at the time of the election) an inhabitant of the state they represent. Pretty sure the qualifications are actually harder to be a waitress.
Aussie here, so I know I'm not qualified to comment, but I have watched some of the videos where she gets absolutely stuck into medical insurance CEO's among others. She's awesome!
