Almost didn't post this time because my chemo is over. Just spoke to the doctor just now and the scans I had last week look really good. They saw what they were expecting to see and then some.
Now, I am in the maintenance phase where I will be recieving Immunotherapy infusions on the same three week schedule as before.
Indefinately and I'm totaly ok with that because now I know this shit ain't gonna kill me.
I haven't beat Cancer yet, but I have the upper hand and I've got it in a choke hold.
The astute reader may notice the equipment in the background. I've been coming here long enough that the hospital upgraded while I was here.
To top that off, it's snowing today too.
So far, the lesson learned is that Cancer fucked with the wrong dude.
Seriously though, now that I have had it, Cancer is something that is going to be a part of my life... even if it is only just passing background thought.
That's kinda how it works, but right now, I have the upper hand and through continued vigilance, I'm keeping it that way.
