There's a big push on L'Oreal's social media now (who Heard is apparently the face of these days). People are spamming their posts with "This company supports domestic violence against men" and hashtags like #FireAmber and #JusticeForJohnny. I don't usually participate in internet activism but this might just work. This woman deserves jail time.
They've been demanding she be fired for close to a year now. L'oreal already made their stance loud and clear imo.
.
I'm not kidding when I say that the moment Depp lost the defamation suit I got bombarded with an influx of L'oreal ads featuring Heard.
.
They are PROUD to have the woman who admitted to beating her husband as the face of their company.
.
Warner Brothers also owns the tabloid that released doctored footage trying to frame Depp as an abuser. The first thing they did when he lost the defamation case was say he "lost the wife-beater case."
fact is, when a woman hits a man, she's seen as strong, independent and equal, but it's not equal, because when it's the same behaviour from a man he's violent, oppressive and an abuser. I'm all for equality in some regards, but this highlights why there never will be true equality.
That's not a fact anywhere on this Earth except in your mind. Nobody except for the craziest manhaters see an abuser woman as strong. Corporate fucks in WB simply think we'll forget this and they'll still have their moneymaker.
Honestly if I was Jason Momoa or any of the other big stars in the upcoming Aquaman movie (i haven't even seen the first movie so idk who else is in it lol), I'd refuse to work with her. I'd say to them, it's either her or me. And the people love me and hate her, your choice.
ok, poor choice of words, but women are praised (by some) when they "stand up for themselves" and hit men, no man is ever praised for hitting a girl, or even hitting a girl back. But i still stand by my opinion that there will never be true equality
Right, by some, by the crazies. I'm of the opinion that if she hits you, you're allowed to hit back as long as you don't overdo it, same principle that applies to self defense laws pretty much.
What do you mean by true equality? Legal, social, gender roles?
i agree, hit for hit. true equality, when no one bats an eye if a guy hits a girl back, no one white knights during an altercation to stop the man only. A woman doesn't demand the bus seat cause she's the female and the man should stand. Lots of instances in daily life that aren't equal and shouldn't really be equal, front line military, not because they're women, but because they would lack the strength to carry their male counter parts if they are injured.
