In Australia the night parrot is a similar coloured bird that is so rare we thought it was extinct for a long time

Everyone look up "Shagged by a rare parrot" on youtube. It's a clip from a BBC show of Stephen Fry and some other dude travelling to NZ and a kakapo attempts to mate with the guy. It's hilarious.
