When I was about 11yo I thought about this and looked up. I think back on that sometimes and in my memory I imagine looking down at my younger self. Our eyes meet across the decades and he gives me a smile and a nod. In not even sure it's a memory anymore.
Yes, but actually no. Every time you recall a memory you remember it just slightly different. You're essentially rewriting the memory every time you recall it. So the you in the memory is not actually you but a copy of a copy that gets more copies every time you remember the memory.
