I dunno, the fact that a good chunk of the US believes brown cows make chocolate milk? Inane stupidity has unfortunately become the simplest of answers in these times.
A "good chunk" is an alleged 7% of the adult US population. And there's just little reliable proof of that claim, either. The number is based on a study published by a dairy industry lobby group, and the science is at least questionable, apparently. Quite a classic example of how claims like that become sort of common "knowledge". Very informative summary found here:

How would I assume that, looking at what's happening in this very thread? People getting revved up when someone confronts their beliefs with facts and bearing hatred towards information. All I said was that there is little to non evidence that there's a huge number of people who don't know only female mammals give milk. If some of you are so convinced there are, that's maybe based on who they usually have to do with.
