Yes, I know about the rainbow (which ironically they had to add black and brown to to indicate the rainbow includes people of certain ethnicities in particular). But these cupcakes don't have rainbow on them. They have ombre coloring lol
Re : the rainbow ..
The six coloured flag we've used the past twenty odd years came about to lower the cost of production since multiple inks raise the price of printing. Since the first flags in the sixties there have been variations with as many as 12 colours to a flag including black, brown and white so it's not really being added as much as put back. These and other colours have been used to represent better inclusion in the movement that really started in San Francisco in -68 and was deeply influenced by the Black Power Movement of the time.
Today the LGBTQ+ movement is represented worldwide in every nation with it's proud, if sometimes unappreciated, American roots.
The Wikipedia article is well with a read: Rainbow flag (LGBT)

weird take from someone who, not that long ago, was arguing that coming out in America and western nations was on par with sending a soldier into war
.
.
As for the "white" in the rainbow - as far as I know white is only allowed in the rainbow if it is accompanied by it's pink and blue bodyguards, and has nothing to do with race. Same with the "yellow" and "red" which I hope aren't meant to represent races since that would be pretty racist itself I'd think
Either way that provided a couple possible interpretations:
.
-The LGBT were so commited to their lack of inclusion of one race in particular in the fucking rainbow, they had to alter the entire flag just to broadcast that this racial group is now, in fact, allowed to be considered gay(/etc)
.
-The LGBTQ always had black people listed as a sexual identity (which seems weird but okay), but now need people to know that black people specifically are more important than other races when they are gay(/etc) because black people were involved in the movement before, therefore
.
-everyone already knew black people were allowed to be part of the Lbtq, were important to the movement (as much as anyone of any other race), and the Lbtq are literally pulling the equivalent to the ol "change your profile pic to rainbow in June and virtue signal your heart out!"
