Because it's fucking retarded. He's eventually going to hurt himself because of that. Gold is very conductive, so don't be surprised if he gets zapped by lightning. It's also such a waste of gold, as that same conductivity is so useful for so many other things beyond fake hair.

I'd make fun of them as well. When it comes to making jokes I have zero prejudice. If you're a dumbass, I'm tell you you're a dumbass. My particular problem with this is the waste of a precious metal. If he did it with iron I wouldn't care (though still call him a dumbass and laugh). Gold's functionality is unlike anything else known.
