We’re clearly living in Idiocracy right now

It’s like we are living in the worst parts of a bunch of those movies all mashed up together in a conflicting mess where people act like Idiocracy but less fun and light hearted and they don’t actually listen to Joe and Rita but instead refuse to get vaccinated and stop destroying the planet. We’ve got like these children of men vibes with terrorism and refugees crises and general malaise- and a bunch of people trying to control what a pregnant woman does with her body and feeling like they get that right because it’s all about the species is very children of men except it’s the opposite of the films where they had not enough babies and lots of people willing to raise the kid for the girl. The part where they didn’t care wether she wanted that or not is the same though. There’s this post man vibe with information control and a growing wasteland as well as schisms of those claiming patriotism as a means of despotism for fundamentalist ideas. There’s this odd Zardos vibe too….
