Well, it's incredibly likely that eventually at some point you will get stuck somewhere with no way out (collapsed tunnel, pit, post-apocalyptic-dead-world, etc.) And be stranded there forever.
people mistake immortality for invincibility, even though immortality means living forever it doesn't mean you can't die. why do so many people not get that?
Don't understand what you're saying. That contradicts itsslf. If you can die you don't live forever

Immortality is not necessarily immunity to wounds. You can remain alive as long as you are not killed by something.

I never wanted immortality....80-90 year sounds long and exhausting, I've barely survived 19 how the flipping fuck do you expect me to go on for eternity no thank you
The pain of seeing your loved ones slowly dying in front of your eyes. The fear of being found out and turned into a Ginny pig to learn immortality. The desire to die being so unreachable.
What I think should happen, as far as Immortality goes, is that we should be ageless but be able to choose when we die. So that we could accomplish everything we want to, but not have to go on without everyone(thing) we care about.
Not sure but it explores alot of heavy concepts like what knowledge would some accumulate, would they avoid human relationships in fear of watching them age and die, and at what point would someone begin to try and kill themselves because they feel they've lived long enough.
That actually sounds pretty interesting. I'd give it a read... maybe make a post about it when you finish? And have some confidence in your work, it doesn't sound like shit lol. Good luck, I hope you get published ;)
