Beats are expensive because of the branding, not any actual quality.

They're manufactured with extra useless metal inside to make them feel heavier, therefore higher quality.
Beats are way overpriced but I wouldn't reject a pair if they were given as a gift.
Idiots always call me a dumbass hipster when I tell them their beats are shitty quality for the price and it's just the brand. It's like the fucking iPhone of headphones

Beats are not worth the money all you are paying for is the name the cost to make a pair is aroind $16 and there are many headphones that produce much better bass and overall quality
You obviously never heard Harman/Kardon headphones.
