Even if it does, imagine how a law like that would've been passed,
''Yes, so pregnant women are now allowed to abort life.''
''You mean they can murder anyone while pregnant?''
''No, that's not what I-''
''PREGNANT WOMEN LEGALLY ALLOWED TO KILL, SPREAD THE WORD!''
Or a child who was sexually abused and is not ready to have children herself be forced to carry that baby to term in spite of the physical, mental and emotional danger it poses to her?
Iblazel? Forgetting the moral issues, what do you think happens to women who don't want children in a country where abortion is illegal? There are women too young to know better or too desperate to care going to back alley abortionists who do more damage then good leaving women unable to ever bare children or damaged inside. These women have their reasons and deserve their right not to be forced to birth children until they're ready and they deserve safe places to express that right
Previously if you assaulted a pregnant woman or struck her with your vehicle you didn't face very severe penalties for killing her child. The new law enacted strict penalties for killing an unborn child, but also protected the woman's right to chose to terminate the pregnancy. Some lawyers thought the wording was ambiguous and allowed pregnant women to terminate any life they chose. The law was fixed the following day before any pregnant women killed anybody.
'You're about to find out'
''Yes, so pregnant women are now allowed to abort life.''
''You mean they can murder anyone while pregnant?''
''No, that's not what I-''
''PREGNANT WOMEN LEGALLY ALLOWED TO KILL, SPREAD THE WORD!''
I'm not gonna blow up a post with this stupidity
Edit: @pokethebear I was right!
